FSU football: How much will coaches expand 2023 QB recruiting board?

Potential Targets

Two players that were on campus at camp over the weekend were three-star Ryan Browne and three-star Kasen Weisman. Browne is originally from Venice, Florida, and was 8A Player of the Year before transferring to Milford Academy in New York for his senior season.

Browne completed 60 percent of his passes for 2,636 yards and 31 TDs against seven interceptions. He also ran for 534 yards and eight more touchdowns. He lists at 6’5″ and 216 pounds. As you can see below, Browne has great size and an excellent arm.

Kasen Weisman is from Douglasville, Georgia, which is about 4.5 hrs directly north of Tallahassee. Weisman lists at 6’2″ and 180 pounds and holds 27 offers.

He completed 61 percent of his passes for 2,035 yards, with 17 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also ran for 289 yards and eight touchdowns.

California and Kansas are his only two Power 5 offers. Some footage on Weisman is below:

Both guys made some nice throws but left Tallahassee without an offer Saturday. Another potential target could be Miami commit, three-star Emory Williams. Williams is from Milton, Florida, and was an Elite-11 Finalist.

He lists at 6’4″ and 205 pounds. Williams completed 63 percent of his passes for 2,168 yards, with 16 touchdowns against three interceptions. He also ran for 64 yards and four touchdowns. Williams holds Power 5 offers from Miami, Pittsburgh, and Indiana.

Other than Williams, I prefer Browne of the other two targets. He’s physically more developed and has a stronger arm with the ability to run when he need to also.
