QB Reality

Mike Norvell’s future rides on the 2022 season. If they don’t win at least seven games, I’m not saying he’ll get fired, but it won’t be enough progress to make necessary changes to the staff or attract enough difference-makers on the recruiting trail.

If they win enough games in 2022, that likely begins the AJ Duffy era at FSU. Duffy, a former blue-chip and top 200 player overall, likely takes over the reins as a redshirt freshman if Jordan Travis leaves the program.

That would mean Brock Glenn or Chris Parson would redshirt in 2023 because neither would be good enough to start as freshmen. Then the question would be could they develop enough to overtake Duffy in 2024?

I doubt it, which means they likely wouldn’t see the field until 2025, and that’s only if AJ Duffy was good enough to leave for the NFL after his third year.

However, 2024 commit Luke Kromenhoek likely has more potential and upside than Parson and Glenn.

If Kromenhoek sticks with his commitment(I know, who knows), they may never see the field at FSU as starters anyways. Not to mention there’s always the transfer portal option.
