Parting Thoughts

The expectations should be different in Mike Norvell’s third year. I’ve talked about it on the podcast and written about it extensively.

This program has all of the ingredients to be successful. They have an experienced QB returning and revamped offensive line with depth and experience.

They have experience returning at running back and tight end. They have added talent and experience to the wide receiver unit. The defense returns experience and depth at defensive tackle, linebacker, and the secondary.

The only question marks on defense are at the defensive end with the departures of Jermaine Johnson and Keir Thomas. However, there’s some talent at the position, though largely unproven.

This FSU football team should be more talented than the majority of their schedule and equal to a couple of others. There are only three teams on the schedule that will have more talent(Clemson, LSU, and Florida).

If the Noles execute well, limit mistakes, and avoid injuries at the QB position? There’s no reason they shouldn’t win eight games this year. That’s the standard I continue to set for this team, and it’s the number they need to reach to gain respect from a national respective and in recruiting.
