FSU football: Improved or not? Position rankings compared to 2021

Quarterbacks Improved Over 2021
The Noles go into the 2022 season in a much better position with QB experience. Jordan Travis is the unquestioned starter and began to turn the corner as a passer late last season.
The biggest question mark is depth, much like last season with McKenzie Milton looking to recover from his devastating leg injury. Both quarterbacks missed a ton of time with injuries, which hampered their ability to develop in the offense.
That wasn’t the case in spring camp, and backups Tate Rodemaker and AJ Duffy saw significant snaps. Rodemaker looked improved, and Duffy seemed to be ahead of schedule, but I’m not sure we’d wait either having to play in games where the outcome was dependent upon their play.
The coaching staff hopes they continue to develop through summer and fall camp. I lobbied for the coaching staff to get a quarterback from the transfer portal to avoid this situation, but there’s no point in beating a dead horse about it now.
Mike Norvell seems comfortable putting his future at FSU on Jordan Travis. The quarterback position will be a strength in 2022 if Jordan Travis remains healthy.
