Parting Thoughts

The offensive and defensive lines look to be in great shape, with five players ranked in the top 225 committed along the line of scrimmage.

They have two wide receivers committed, who I believe to be quality takes. The JUCO defensive end commit is solid, and the linebacker commit is a solid developmental player.

I don’t feel they have to knock the defensive back recruiting out of the park, but they absolutely need to get another quality linebacker.

I don’t think they have to take a tight end in this class with so many on the roster. However, they absolutely need to land Singleton at running back and a high-quality blue-chip wide receiver, along with Brock Glenn at quarterback.

That trio is paramount to the overall success of this class. If Singleton, Glenn, and Williams committed right now, FSU would instantly jump to No. 16 nationally.

Some other targets may emerge as the rankings update, and I can’t stress the importance of getting off to a strong start during the season. A 5-0 or 4-1 start to the season would work wonders on the recruiting trail for Mike Norvell.
