Still Take Two QB’s?

If Brock Glenn commits to the Noles, do they still plan to take another high school quarterback? I know they wanted both Parson and Glenn, but the options become limited. One possibility would be to circle back to Miami commit Emory Williams, who has ties to FSU.

Williams is a three-star QB who competed at the Elite 11 event. If he flipped, it would be good for perception because the coaching staff poached a player from Miami.

However, does he offer enough value to use a scholarship if he’d flip? If they don’t see another high school player they like, do they settle with Glenn and look toward the transfer portal at some point?

The only thing with that is that most transfer portal QBs are not looking to come to a school and sit on the bench. I’m sure the coaching staff have weighed these options and have a plan as they communicate with Glenn.

However, we’ll have to see if he pulls the trigger on an FSU commitment and what happens next. I like Glenn, and his post-visit interview from his official visit impressed me with how he stated he wasn’t afraid to compete with anyone.

That seems to be the case since he began to trend toward FSU while Parson was still a commit. Now, it’s a waiting game.
