If FSU football can put together a strong season on the field in 2022, they will be in a good position for several 2024 recruits.

FSU football coaches have done a good job of getting 2024 players and beyond on campus over the past few months.

They recently offered five-star athlete Quinton Martin a week ago, and he plans to visit Tallahassee Monday.

Martin announced the news Sunday night via his Twitter account:

Quinton Martin ranks as the No. 8 player and No. 3 athlete nationally in the 2024 recruiting cycle. He hails from Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, and holds 15 offers from FSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Texas, Texas A&M, West Virginia, Rutgers, and others.

He checks in at 6’3″ and 200 pounds while playing on both sides of the ball for his high school. He still has two more years of high school, so it’ll be interesting to see if he continues to get bigger.

I can’t find any verified stats for him, but at this size, he’ll likely be safety or wide receiver, depending on how much more he grows and adds weight. Martin has already visited places like West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Ohio State(spring game), and Penn State(spring game).

FSU getting him on campus is a positive development after only offering a week ago. It’ll be an uphill battle either way, but will be if they can’t turn it around on the field this season. All of the heavy hitters will be in contention for his commitment.

These players from up north will usually stay up north and attend Ohio State, Notre Dame, or Penn State unless they choose somewhere like Alabama. I’m curious to see his reaction after visiting and if the Noles can get him on campus again.
