James Ramsey (Associate Head Coach Georgia Tech)
James Ramsey is a former ACC Player of the Year, All-American, and first-round draft pick while playing at FSU baseball from 2009 to 2012.
Ramsey was an assistant at FSU in 2018 before becoming an assistant/hitting coach at Georgia Tech in 2018-19. He became the recruiting coordinator in 2019 along with the hitting coach before a promotion to Associate Head Coach in 2021.

As the Associate Head Coach, he remains the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator, and Georgia Tech has become one of the top offensive programs in the nation under his tutelage.
Georgia Tech led the ACC in batting average (.327) and hits (719) and was second in on-base percentage (.420) and third in home runs (114).
His Georgia Tech offense scored 22 runs against FSU in 2022, helping the Yellow Jackets win two of three.
The Yellow Jackets have the No. 9 ranked recruiting class for 2022, No. 5 for 2023, and No. 17 for 2024.
