FSU football: An ‘expert’ says FSU offensive roster isn’t pretty

2022 Offense
The most impressive thing about the production of Jordan Travis in the last three games of 2021 was he was playing behind an offensive line with numerous injuries.
The FSU coaches have done a solid job of adding more offensive linemen from the transfer portal. They should have better depth as a unit, and they’ll have another offseason under their belt in Josh Storm’s strength and conditioning program.
Jordan Travis will have another offseason under his belt, learning the offense and fine-tuning what he does best.
The transfer portal additions at wide receiver coupled with two experienced running backs in Treshaun Ward and Lawrence Toafili, plus the addition of Trey Benson, gives me confidence in the running game.
Mike Norvell has had a legit running game everywhere he’s gone, and 2022 will be no different. Is FSU’s offense gonna blow people off of the map in 2021? No, but they were elite in the red zone last season, scoring touchdowns at a 73.81 percent clip.
If they improve on special teams, which would help improve field position? They’ll have more opportunities to put up points in 2022.
FSU football has too much experience and talent infusion for the offense to be below average in the ACC this year.
