FSU football: 5 Noles that could be drafted in 2023
By Kelvin Hunt
Fabien Lovett
Fabien Lovett was one of the big additions to Mike Norvell’s inaugural 2020 class. If the Noles hadn’t signed Lovett, they’d likely be in trouble from a depth perspective.
Lovett appeared in 11 games last season with 28 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He has battled injuries over the past two years and probably would have gotten drafted this year if he had completed the 2021 season without getting hampered by them.
The All-ACC Honorable Mention is one of the better defensive tackles in the conference and can be unblockable at times. Players in the trenches are a dime a doze and NFL teams are always looking for guys that can make an impact in the trenches.
I wouldn’t be shocked to hear Lovett hear his name called in next year’s draft.
