FSU football: 5 Noles that could be drafted in 2023
By Kelvin Hunt
Robert Cooper
Robert Cooper enters the 2022 season after a bounce-back 2021 season. Cooper continues to reshape his body to put himself in a position to become more of an impact player.
Cooper lists at 6’2″ and 335 pounds, which is nearly 50 pounds lighter than his freshman year in 2018.
He finished the 2021 season with 39 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, and three quarterback hurries while appearing in all 12 games.
I think he’s about maxed-out when it comes to physical ability, but he has value in eating up space and disrupting plays in the middle of an NFL defense. He’s incredibly strong and excellent against the run.
The All-ACC Honorable Mention profiles similar to former Nole Demarcus Christmas, who was a sixth-round draft selection in 2019.
