I don’t mind if Mims visits Miami first. Historically, getting the last recruiting visit seems to have the most influence. FSU football fans seem to favor Mims visiting Miami first.

It’s a position where FSU has their best recruiter in Alex Atkins with a great relationship and lots of pros. It feels like it’s a battle of flash(Miami) vs. substance (FSU). I guess it depends on what Mims is looking for.

Here’s the kicker, he was at a school in Georgia where I’m sure he was well compensated in some fashion, whether it be for NIL or whatever else.

However, he choose to leave there despite all of that. We all want to get the bag, but at some point, it’s finding the right fit and relationships that help you get to the biggest bag. FSU provided that for Jermaine Johnson.

FSU had a huge position of need at defensive end and got a coveted player in Jared Verse. They have shown the ability to have a lot of success in the transfer portal under Mike Norvell. It’ll come down to which place Amarius Mims feels offers that the opportunity to do that.
