Transfer Players Are Legit

FSU football coaches made a conscious decision to use the transfer portal instead of signing a lot of three-star high school players that would need a lot of time to develop.

The thought process behind the decision is the transfer players would need less development and could be more impactful, with the chance to win more games in 2022.

It looks like they were right with Trey Benson, Jared Verse, Mycah Pittman, Tatum Bethune(didn’t play in the spring game but will be a starter at linebacker), Bless Harris, and Kayden Lyles.

These six players could be difference-makers for the Noles in 2022.

I don’t think the FSU coaches are done with the transfer portal and will look to take a few more that will count towards the 2022 recruiting class. If they can land at least one more offensive lineman and possibly another defensive end or linebacker?

That would be ideal. I know some people think they should take a transfer QB, but I don’t think there’s enough time for one to come in and learn the offense to offer anything for the 2022 season. That would be a waste of a scholarship.
