Bonus (Offensive Line)

I couldn’t write this without mentioning players on the offensive line, so I thought it would be better to lump them all together.

I know they have been mixing and matching players, cross-training, and some players will not be available Saturday due to injuries. However, the tackles are the biggest concern and I’m curious who they’ll put there and how they’ll perform.

What will Lloyd Willis look like in action? Does Robert Orr look serviceable? What about newcomer Bless Harris?

How does Thomas Schrader look as he continues to work back from his injury? When healthy, I think they have five guys they can put out there and they’d be serviceable. However, I’m not sure what it would look like if the injury bug struck again.

How some players look could determine if the coaching staff takes 1-2 more offensive linemen in the transfer portal. We know the offense will be limited if the offensive line can’t block it up. I’m also curious to see how Rodemaker fares if he’s under pressure behind an offensive line that’s not giving him much time to throw.

Final Thoughts

Those are the individual players I’ll be looking for along with the offensive line. Who are you looking forward to watching the most on Saturday afternoon?
