Recruiting Juice

The energy around the program after the Early Signing Day saga in December made it seem impossible to have any juice with the 2023 recruiting cycle.

However, as I said on the Built For Playmakers Podcast, there was a way to change the narrative and get past it.

That’s exactly what Mike Norvell and the staff have done by signing some key transfers and going super hard on the recruiting trail.

They have had recruits from 2023, 2024, and 2025 on campus almost every day outside of the recruiting dead period.

They’ve garnered five 2023 commits, four 2024 commits, and are trending for several other blue-chip players, particularly along the defensive line, which is a priority area in this recruiting cycle.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t capture 1 to 2 more commitments between now and the spring game on April 9.
