FSU football: Top 3 observations from March 2022

Best The Team Has Looked So Far

One thing that’s stood out since spring camp began in early March is the physical appearance and depth. FSU football finally has several players that look like they belong at FSU, particularly in the trenches.

It didn’t hurt the players participating in the FSU Pro Day put up some impressive numbers to bolster the strength and conditioning program.

Mike Norvell hasn’t said it directly, but this is by far the best the team has looked since he arrived in Tallahassee. I mean that physically, depth-wise, and from an execution standpoint.

It’s year three, so that should be the case, but it’s promising to know the development is happening across the board.

There are not many question marks from a personnel standpoint outside of the offensive line. If we could guarantee no injuries to key players, I’d be comfortable projecting this team to win a minimum of seven games.

There are still a few positions up for grabs. The field corner position where Jarvis Brownlee played and the offensive tackle positions are the biggest question marks.
