2024 QB Luke Kromenhoek commitment portends to FSU success?

The Future
Read this carefully. I’m not calling Luke Kromenhoek the future of FSU football. I wouldn’t put that on a young man that can’t sign a letter of intent anytime soon.
However, the process through which Mike Norvell is recruiting the quarterback position is a recipe for success. After all, the failure of Jimbo Fisher to sign top-tier quarterbacks in his latter years with FSU football helped expedite the downfall of the Noles.
At the same time, Dabo Swinney signed two of the best college quarterbacks of the past decade in Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawerence. They are two of the biggest reasons Clemson leapfrogged FSU so quickly, even though FSU arguably still had the more talented teams in 2015 and 2016.
Clemson doesn’t beat FSU without Watson playing out of his mind in those two games, and it still took some referee’s help in 2016 to pull that win out for the Tigers. The way Mike Norvell is attacking quarterback recruiting means FSU shouldn’t have the same issues they’ve had from 2017-to 2021.
I’ve said it before, despite not having much talent overall, FSU would have won at least 6-7 games if Jordan Travis didn’t miss the equivalent of 3-4 games due to injury in 2021. If you could guarantee Jordan Travis was healthy the entire 2022 season? How many wins would you project?
Now, these quarterbacks Mike Norvell signed and could sign must develop. Nothing is guaranteed, but I think we can look at the progression of Jordan Travis and feel comfortable that development should take place.
