Final Thoughts

The Noles lost Jermaine Johnson and Keir Thomas as both will likely be on NFL teams next year. Johnson will be a first-round draft pick, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Thomas sign with someone at some point.

Jammie Robinson, Kalen DeLoach, Fabien Lovett,  and Robert Cooper will be back for the 2022 season.

That’s leadership at every level of the defense, but it’ll be difficult to replace the production from Johnson and Thomas.

They have Dennis Briggs moving to defensive end, and transfer Jared Verse will be in the mix on the other side.

The defensive line should be good against the run, and I believe the back seven will be better than last year. Will that be good enough for FSU football fans to gain faith in Adam Fuller?
