Jermaine Johnson vs. Miami

Jermaine Johnson had already cemented himself as one of the best players to wear the garnet and gold in recent memory. However, it was his performance against Miami that turned him into a legend among FSU football fans.

The Noles had lost four consecutive to the Canes and picked to lose a fifth, but Jermaine Johnson put the Noles on his back in one of the most impressive performances you’ll see.

Johnson finished the game with seven tackles, three sacks, and five tackles for a loss. However, one of his biggest tackles came on a crucial third down late in the game that forced Miami to punt to give the Noles the ball back for their game winning drive.
