Final Thoughts

Hopefully, more information will become available when the team returns from spring break. It’s all speculatory until we know specifically what the injury is or until Mike Norvell says how long he’ll be out.

However, Winston Wright Jr. will be a large part of the offensive focal point if he’s healthy. If not, that’s going to force some less proven guys to step up in that role.

The good news is FSU has more talent at the position, and Jordan Travis has shown some progression as a passer.

The offensive line should be better, so I expect better production all the way around, even if Wright can’t play or misses some time. However, having him on the field would mean FSU football would have a proven weapon that defenses would have to gameplan for in the secondary.

He’d also be the significant upgrade in the kickoff return area the Noles need so desperately. We’ll see how it shakes out, but my hope is Wright can regain his health quickly since he has goals of playing in the NFL.
