Key To Victory

FSU baseball will throw their usual starting pitchers, even though this isn’t a conference weekend series. They’ll have the advantage as the Golden Bears haven’t faced anyone like Parker Messick and Bryce Hubbart. Their offense strikes out a ton, similar to the ‘Noles offense, and have a couple of guys with multiple home runs. FSU will need to play with the same intensity on Sunday as they do with Messick and Hubbart on the mound in the first two games.

FSU hitters have done a good job of getting hits, but continue to strike out at an alarming rate while leaving runners on base(10 last game). The pitching staff should hold most offenses in check, but scoring few runs per game leaves little run for error.

Defensively, FSU has to be better as they allowed two runs on an error and passed ball last game. The first pitch will take place at 7 p.m. and the game will air on the ACC Network.
