FSU football: 3 biggest questions heading into 2022

FSU football enters the third season of the Mike Norvell era. A season that will go a long way to determine if FSU will return to respectability anytime soon.

The Noles caught some tough breaks with injuries to Jordan Travis, the offensive line, and half of the team catching the flu before the NC State game.

However, they still left a lot of the table, finishing with a 5-7 record.

In a perfect world, I could see FSU winning 7-8 games in 2021, which would have changed expectations greatly in 2022.

The good news is FSU returns a ton of production on both sides of the ball, and that continuity should translate into more success. We saw some glimmers of hope on both sides of the ball, with both improving over the previous year.

Plus, FSU coaches have gone to the transfer portal to find more help, much as they did with the defense last year. It’s one of the reasons advanced metrics like FSU football so much going into 2022.

With that said, let’s take a look at three concerns heading into 2022.
