Hitting
FSU hitting was the phase of the game I was most impressed with. Leadoff hitter Reese Albert had a great weekend, going 7-9 with two RBI’s and six runs scored.
Alex Toral made his presence felt, going 5-11(including a grand slam) with nine RBI’s and two runs scored. Logan Lacey went 5-12 with a home run and five RBI’s.
¡Ay Dios mio!@AlexT_20 with a 💣 for a grand slam that breaks this open.

Brett Rogers went 4-9 with a home run and four RBI’s. Several freshmen had impressive at-bats, including James Tibbs, who homered in his first FSU at-bat. Overall, the offense went 37-99, with 13 walks, 24 strikeouts, and 17 runners left on base.
The latter is something they need to improve upon, as there were opportunities to break open games earlier with runners in scoring position.
