FSU football is all but done with its 2022 recruiting class as National Signing Day nears. The Noles signed 15 high school players, with only four-star Antavious Woody remaining unsigned.

His signing will likely come down to academics and if he’s made enough progress to qualify. The staff visited him within the last week, so I’d assume he’s making progress.

FSU holds the No. 13 ranking nationally(really should be No. 12 if we add PWO blue-chip defensive end Dante Anderson, who enrolled this spring).

The staff did a great job addressing the quarterback, offensive line, and secondary. They filled needs at the tight end position but used the transfer portal to address the remaining needs after missing some wide receiver and linebacker targets.

However, the additions from the transfer portal will likely have more of an impact on the 2022 season than any high school player they could have signed.

Also, eight of the 10 transfers have more than one year of eligibility remaining(though a couple could declare for the NFL if they have monster 2022 seasons).

The Noles have added 10 transfer players thus far, and all of them enrolled this spring which is a massive deal.

Let’s take a look at three thoughts as National Signing Day nears.
