The Noles have already added two offensive line transfers in Kayden Lyles and Bless Harris. Lyles will be an interior guy, most likely center, and Harris expects to play tackle after playing mostly left tackle at his previous stop.

Can he play left tackle in the ACC? We’ll see, but he’s great for depth and multiple positions either way. The Noles should have improved depth, but you can’t have too many solid offensive linemen, which is why I hope the Noles can find one more option in the transfer portal between now and the end of spring.

I would prefer a true offensive tackle, but if they can find a guy that can play tackle or guard, I think that would be worth a scholarship. The ‘Noles starting lineup last year wasn’t bad but ran into issues when injuries impacted the starters.

They need to have less drop-off when starters go out of the game, and another transfer would help. It would also allow the freshmen offensive linemen who signed to avoid playing too early.

They can focus on their technique and spend time in the strength and conditioning program instead of playing and likely getting hurt because they are not physically ready to play.
