Honorable Mention: Kalen DeLoach-Took the next step and was tied for third on the team with 69 total tackles and had 6.5 tackles for a loss.

Honorable Mention: Keir Thomas-One of the most important transfers from 2021. The bookend of the defensive line with Jermaine Johnson and was second on the team with 12 tackles for a loss.

Honorable Mention: Alex Mastromanno-Aside from a couple of punts this year, Mastramanno has been the most consistent part of FSU special teams in only his second year of American football. He has averaged 43 yards per punt over the past two years, which is among the best FSU has had since Shawn Powell a decade ago.

FSU lost Johnson and Thomas, who exhausted their eligibility and will look to play in the NFL. Johnson will likely be a first-round draft pick. Jashaun Corbin declared for the NFL Draft, but Gibbons, Travis, DeLoach, Mastromanno, and possibly Robinson will return in 2022.

FSU is currently working to secure some key targets from the transfer portal for the 2022 season. If things go according to plan, there may not be much of a dropoff overall, if at all for 2022.
