FSU football: 2022 Early Signing Period mock recruiting class
By Kelvin Hunt
Jared Verse
Jared Verse is a defensive end transfer from Albany that FSU football coaches identified when game-planning for Syracuse.
The best thing going for FSU is they got him on campus quickly for an official visit that went for two days.
While on campus, Verse spent time with the coaches, but it was the time with Jermaine Johnson and Keir Thomas that probably sealed the deal.
Both players spoke about their experience of transferring into FSU from other places and co-signed the coaching staff. There’s an immediate need at the defensive end position and Verse has three years of eligibility left.
Verse has had other suitors come in like Auburn and Tennessee. However, none of them have proven success from the transfer portal at the defensive end position like FSU. Tennessee is someone to watch as he apparently canceled his Purdue visit to stay in Knoxville another day.
I still expect Verse to become a part of Tribe22.
