FSU football has a lot of question marks going into the season on the offensive side of the ball. Can Jordan Travis stay healthy?

How much has Jordan Travis improved as a quarterback? Would the offensive line show improvement over 2020? Would the wide receivers show a pulse after many rank them as the worst receiving unit in the ACC?

How good would the running game be with Jashuan Corbin and former walk-on Treshaun Ward? Of course, Jordan Travis couldn’t stay healthy the entire season and the offensive line dealt with injuries and lack of depth all year.

The wide receivers proved to be among the worst in the ACC, and the running backs overperformed expectations and were among the best rushing tandems in the nation for much of the year.

The tight-end unit was invisible for much of the year, but we did see signs of life from Jordan Wilson and Camren McDonald at times. The offense improved from No. 95 to No. 42, according to advanced FEI metrics.

That’s the highest ranking since the 2017 season, and FSU would arguably have a higher ranking if Jordan Travis played in every game. Nevertheless, substantial progress happened, so let’s look at the top three areas.
