Offensive Line

The FSU football offensive line starters are a decent group when they can remain healthy. Of course, that seldom happens when dealing with offensive linemen.

Injuries wrecked this unit for the Noles in 2021, and kudos to several of them who played through some tough injuries because there wasn’t a better option if the Noles wanted any chance of winning games.

They need both interior guys and tackles, or a combination of guys that can play both positions.

They already have Lamar transfer Bless Harris committed, and are in the mix with several guys in portal right now.

The challenge for the coaching staff is finding enough quality players to either start or provide depth to the current group.

The problem for FSU has been the drop-off from starter to the reserve has been too steep. FSU has a strong class of 2022 prep offensive linemen committed with the possibility of at least one more.

There have been too many players playing before they are physically ready as well. These transfers will raise the floor while giving younger players a chance to develop, instead of playing early, getting injured, and causing a developmental delay.
