Start Fast

Think of this game as a fight. A quick start on offense and defense would be like a huge punch in the first round of a boxing match.

Ideally, it would be great if the Noles could score a touchdown on their first offensive possession and get a stop on their first defensive possession. Florida hasn’t had a full coaching staff to prepare, and that will likely have an impact.

It’s akin to a boxer not having coaches that watched the film for tendencies or to form a proper game plan. Usually, when that’s the case, the fighter isn’t that invested or will begin to look for a way out of the fight when things don’t go their way.

An early lead for the Noles and success on defense will create that adversity that could make Florida players begin to look for a way out.

A quick flurry is something FSU has done in their last two games against Miami and Boston College.

They haven’t thrown the haymaker that would knock their opponent out after having them hurt on the ropes, and Saturday would be a great time to do it.
