Final Thoughts

It would have been nice to get a blowout win and allow some younger guys to get some valuable reps.

However, a road win to have a shot at becoming bowl eligible is beyond what anyone could have imagined a month or so ago.

This team is showing stretches of the ability to dominate their opponent. We saw it against Miami, and we saw it for a stretch against Boston College Saturday. What they have to do next is figure out how to go ahead and knock teams out when they have them on the ropes.

Boston College was begging to get knocked out, and the Noles missed on several opportunities. However, I have to give credit to the team for withstanding that adversity Saturday.

We know FSU teams of the past couple of years would not have been able to make a play to stave off defeat.

This 2021 FSU team did that and now could win the state title with a win over Florida next week. I have to give major props to the players and coaching staff.
