Parting Thoughts

That’s seven quality blue-chip players the Noles have a realistic shot of gaining a commitment in the 2022 class. There are a couple of other targets that could ultimately come into the picture, but right now, this is where we stand.

I’m not sure FSU will land all of these players, and the odds say that’s not the case. However, I feel confident they land at least four of them. That would be unprecedented with a team coming off a three-win season, not to mention the 0-4 start.

That would give the Noles nearly a 50 percent blue-chip ratio, with at least five players ranked inside the top 150 composite rankings.

Depending on how things shake out, they’ll have addressed nearly every position of need, with several spots left to use for experienced players from the transfer portal.

If they have a high success rate from the transfer portal? The floor and ceiling of the program will see dramatic improvement.
