Kevin Coleman (Wide Receiver)

Kevin Coleman is a player the coaching staff has put a lot of time and effort into recruiting. The five-star wide receiver ranks as the No. 33 player overall and No. 3 wide receiver.

He unofficially visited Tallahassee in June and officially took a visit for the Notre Dame game. He hasn’t been back since, while officially visiting Oregon, who has emerged as the main competition.

Coleman also plans to officially visit USC next week, but they are without a head coach. Coleman is one of the most important players in this recruiting cycle for the staff.

The wide receiver position has an incredible need for a talent infusion, and he would immediately improve that unit. The question is can they get him back on campus? If so, I think they’ll have a solid shot at having him join the class.

If not, then I think it’s safe to say that ship has sailed, and he’ll head out west. Oregon has two wide receiver commits, and the lone FSU wide receiver commit is Devaughn Mortimer.

Oregon receivers haven’t exactly lit it up this season despite their overall record, and their QB commit isn’t ranked as high as FSU commit AJ Duffy.
