Jermaine Johnson

Do you want to talk about a guy that put the defense on his back at times Saturday? Jermaine Johnson played like a man possessed against Miami.

He was everywhere and had seven tackles, five tackles for a loss, and all three of FSU’s sacks. Did I mention he caused a fumble on one of those sacks that led to a touchdown by FSU on the next play?

The sack took place deep in Miami’s territory, with the FSU offense getting the ball on the Miami 12-yard line.

His impact was akin to Jalen Ramsey impacting the Miami game in 2015. It was an extraordinary effort in what will be his last game in Doak Campbell Stadium. This performance likely solidified himself as a legitimate NFL first-rounder.
