Jordan Travis

I can’t say enough good things about Jordan Travis and his performance Saturday night. I’ve been critical of Jordan Travis a few times this year. However, aside from a couple of errant throws, he was money most of the night.

He made his presence felt in the passing and running game, finishing 18 of 26 for 276 yards. He ran for 62 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.

The two-point conversion at the end of the game was huge as it took some pressure off the defense, having to worry about allowing a potential game-winning field goal.

Travis’s numbers could have been better if not for a couple of drops from FSU wide receivers. Jordan Young dropped a long pass, and Andrew Parchment gave up on a route on a pass that was on the money.

Parchment redeemed himself on the fourth and 14 play that saw Jordan Travis throw a bullet on the money for the conversion.

Notice how he stays calm and doesn’t get happy feet? That’s what we’ve been wanting to see from him all year. Great job Jordan!
