Ja’Khi Douglas

Ja’Khi Douglas is a player that’s had an interesting role on the team in 2021. He began the season as a wide receiver, catching a long touchdown against Notre Dame in the season opener.

However, we saw him disappear for a few games and emerge in the backfield as a running back. He has never looked like a running back, so it was good to see him make an impact in the game Saturday night.

He lead all FSU receivers with four receptions and 90 yards, including a 60-yarder that put the Noles in the red zone on their final game-winning drive.

Douglas was known for having good speed coming out of high school, and you can see the separation right before the catch. Here’s to hoping we’ll see him stay at receiver and take advantage of that speed.
