FSU football: 5 players deserve Tomahawk Stickers for Clemson game
By Kelvin Hunt
Honrable Mentions
I’ve provided Tomahawk Stickers more than five players, and a few more probably deserve to have their names listed. So here’s what we’ll do:
- Omarion Cooper
- Malcolm Ray
- DJ Lundy
- Kalen DeLoach
Omarion Cooper had a huge interception that gave the FSU offense great field position, but the offense wasted the possession with penalties killing the drive. Malcolm Ray played more snaps than usual and finished the game with three tackles, .5 sacks, and 1.5 tackles for a loss. DJ Lundy led the team with 11 tackles (eight solos)and .5 tackles for a loss, and Kalen DeLoach had six tackles (four solos) and one QB hurry.
All in all, several defensive players played well Saturday, and the Noles will need them to show up consistently for a chance to win a few more games this season.
