Lawrence Toafili

There is only one offensive player that deserves Tomahawk Stickers, and that’s running back Lawrence Toafili. Jashaun Corbin and Treshaun Ward have been carrying the load for the Noles.

However, Toafili made a game-changing play mid-way through the second quarter to give the Noles a 13-10 lead. Clemson had taken the lead on their last possession before Jordan Travis hit Toafili in stride along the right sideline.

Toafili made one of the most spectacular plays ever to keep his balance after the Clemson defender tried to drag him to the ground. The result of the play was one reception for a 75-yard touchdown that quieted the Clemson crowd in a hurry.

The FSU offense didn’t have much to brag about Saturday afternoon, but this play deserved a Tomahawk Sticker by itself. Toafili also contributed four carries for 17 yards in the game.
