FSU football will have an intriguing matchup Saturday afternoon when they travel to Death Valley to take on the Clemson Tigers.

I know many fans have focused on how the FSU offense matches up against the Clemson defense, but I think the key to the game is how the FSU defense matches up with the Clemson offense.

Clemson’s offense has struggled all season and only scored over 21 points once all season, which was against FCS South Carolina State.

FSU’s defense wasn’t getting much help from its offense early in the season and struggled to get off the field on third downs while allowing teams to average over 30 points per game.

However, things have changed since the second half of the Louisville game where they held the Cardinals scoreless.

Each game since has seen the ‘Noles defense tighten up a tad bit more as Adam Fuller settles on a set group of guys taking the most reps.

Will Clemson flip a switch Saturday and find the mojo they’ve been missing all year? My sentiment is that won’t be the case unless the FSU offense turns the ball over multiple times.

That’s something they haven’t done in a while, and the Noles will have an excellent chance to win the game if they can keep the Tiger offense in check. Here’s how they match up.
