FSU football: 3 areas need continued improvement after bye-week

QB Play
Despite the defense’s faults at times in the first half of the season, it was the QB position that cost the Noles in all four of their losses.
Jordan Travis had three interceptions against Notre Dame, and QB play was poor against Jacksonville State. FSU QB’s accounted for five of the six turnovers in the Wake Forest game.
An interception by McKenzie Milton ended the Louisville game. Jordan Travis seized the starting position the week of the Syracuse game and has played well.
Guess what? FSU football won the next two games, and the offense looked totally different. Part of that is the coaching staff playing to the strength of Travis instead of trying to make him a pocket passer.
However, I have to give Jordan Travis credit for continuing to battle under the circumstances. He played while hurt and never complained when the coaches were trying to use two quarterbacks.
The good news is, I think it’s the Jordan Travis show from here on out as long as he can stay healthy. If he plays well and doesn’t turn the ball over, the Noles could beat every single team on the schedule in the second half.
He has looked confident in the last two games, and hopefully, that carries into the back half of the schedule.
