FSU football: Ranking six toughest games remaining on 2021 schedule
By Kelvin Hunt
Florida
Who would have thought Florida would have been in the No. 1 spot after losing a lot of production from their 8-4 campaign last season.
The Gators rank among the top offenses and defenses in the nation according to advanced metrics. However, they already have losses against Alabama and Kentucky. FSU fans have to keep hoping Dan Mullen trots Emory Jones out at quarterback because freshman Anthony Richardson is the more lethal option.
It’s a road game for the Noles, and who knows what their depth will be like by the time the final game rolls around in late November.
Nevertheless, Florida has the best combination of talent and balance on both sides of the ball. It would be the most difficult game to win at this point, and that’s why I have them in the No. 1 spot on this list.
Final Thoughts
How many wins do you see among these six games? FSU football will need to win four more to make a bowl game. UMASS is one with Boston College and Miami as possible wins. Can FSU win those three and sneak a win from NC State or Clemson? We’ll find out in a few weeks!
