Jarrian Jones

FSU football defensive back Jarrian Jones has caught a lot of criticism from FSU fans since transferring from Mississippi State before the 2020 season.

The former blue-chip recruit played injured most of last season and has dealt with some injuries this season.

However, his play had not been up to par. His interception of Sam Howell’s pass in the second quarter provided the ‘Noles defense with its second consecutive stop after allowing 10 points on North Carolina’s first two possessions.

Jones finished the game with three tackles, one pass defended, and the game-changing interception.
