FSU football will look to ride the momentum from their first win of the 2021 season when they travel to Chapel Hill, NC, for their second road trip this season.

Ironically, both road trips have been to the Tarheel State, and the Noles find themselves in a similar situation against the North Carolina Tarheels.

By that, I mean the Noles will be double-digit betting underdogs for the second consecutive year when facing North Carolina. However, the Noles shocked the college football world with a 31-28 win last season.

They’ll look to replicate that result Saturday afternoon. It won’t be easy, but the win last week and knowing they pulled the upset last year should give the Noles some confidence against North Carolina.

The Tarheels are not too different from Syracuse, except they have a better quarterback in Sam Howell but a defense that isn’t as disruptive.

Why are they big betting favorites? FSU has played terribly in their lone road game against Wake Forest this year, and Sam Howell is one of the better quarterbacks in the nation.

However, it’s not an impossible task to upset the Heels. Here are three North Carolina weaknesses that benefit the Noles.
