Kalen DeLoach/DJ Lundy

FSU coaches talked about the emergence of Kalen DeLoach in fall camp and penciled him in as a starter over Stephen Dix Jr., who started last year as a freshman.

DeLoach has consistently been FSU’s best linebacker this season and looks like he’ll be a player for the Noles for the next couple of years.

DeLoach is the linebacker with the most ability to cover in space, but has shown he can shoot a gap with physicality.

The goal-line stand is a prime example of his growth as a player. DJ Lundy has limitations as a linebacker in space, but he was productive in the Syracuse game.

These two linebackers combined for 14 tackles, with five of them solo.
