Final Thoughts

The crazy thing is they have played well enough to be 3-1 at worst and have gotten very little help from the offense. I don’t think Adam Fuller will lose his job during the season.

However, that could change if the Noles get blown off the field for an entire game the way they did against Louisville in the first half.

When they have played well, the questions remain whether that’s true or the opponent took their foot off the gas. A strong game against Syracuse would probably be fools’ gold since Syracuse is a good matchup for the defense.

We know they are decent at running the ball. However, if Syracuse quarterbacks go out there and look like Patrick Mahomes through the air?

I don’t think there’s anything anyone can say to defend Adam Fuller any longer. I do think he’s been the scapegoat for frustrated fans to a degree.

However, if he wants to quieten the whispers at all, the FSU defense must have a strong performance against a one-dimensional opponent. If not, it becomes a not if, but when change happens at the position.
