Running Backs

Jashaun Corbin and Treshaun Ward are good enough to carry the majority of the load for the FSU offense. However, they only have 36 carries combined over the last two games.

How is that possible when we know the FSU receivers are not good and the quarterbacks struggle to find them when they are open? If the coaching staff want to switch things up, why not include the running backs more in the passing game catching the ball out of the backfield?

I know the coaching staff has a system with how they want to rotate players, but there’s no reason to stop feeding these guys the ball. Corbin averages 7.57 yards per carry and Ward averages 6.76 yards, yet they are averaging 10 carries combined per game.

I know Jashaun Corbin had the fumble early in the Wake Forest game, but he’s proven he’s one of your best options, and it’s not like he has fumbled a ton.

I thought it would have been a good time to go right back to him instead of bringing Jordan Travis in on the second series of the game to basically run the wildcat without the wildcat formation.

If the offense is built for playmakers, why are the playmakers not getting the ball?
