Depth Builder

There wasn’t a betting line for Saturday’s game until late Friday, and the Noles are sizable favorites. It’s a game the Noles should have no problem winning and where quality reps for inexperienced players can happen. Ideally, I’d like to see the Noles take care of business and get the starters out of the game by halftime. That would hearken FSU football fans back to the historic 2013 season with Nole starters playing hangman on the sidelines during blowouts. Several players need more reps to help build depth as we progress to the more difficult part of the schedule in October and November. Here are a few players I’d like to get more reps:

  • McKenzie Milton
  • Chubba Purdy
  • Lawrance Toafili
  • Bryan Robinson
  • Joshua Burrell
  • Quashon Fuller
  • Derrick McClendon
  • Patrick Payton
  • Shyheim Brown
  • Kevin Knowles
  • Marcus Cushnie
  • Jarrett Jackson
  • Malcolm Ray

The Noles need to avoid injuries and get these players in the game to help build depth.
