McKenzie Milton

What we saw McKenzie Milton do Sunday night has to earn a Tomahawk Sticker. It didn’t look like Milton would see any action until Jordan Travis lost his helmet on a play with nine minutes left in the game.

Milton went into the game after not having much if any time to warm up and threw a completed pass for 22 yards on his first attempt in nearly three years.

The drive resulted in an FSU touchdown to cut the lead to three points, but the magic didn’t end there.

Milton stayed in the game on FSU’s next possession to lead the team to a game-tying field goal to force overtime.
If it had not been for a bad snap on third down, Milton could have led the Noles to another touchdown for a storybook ending in the game.

Milton playing well in limited time was good enough to earn the Tomahawk, but what he overcame to get the opportunity was even better.
