Tight End unit

The tight-end unit might have been the least talented group on the roster in 2020. There was Camren McDonald and everyone else.

A walk-on( Preston Daniels) was getting snaps over some scholarship players. His third-down play near their goal line against North Carolina was a pivotal moment in upsetting the No. 5 team in the nation.

McDonald returns for his senior year and will be joined by UCLA transfer Jordan Davis, who missed last year with an ACL injury.

Davis is a physical specimen and will play a vital role in the blocking game, something that was missing for the Noles in 2020.

Preston Daniels returns, Wyatt Rector, Markeston Douglas, and freshman Jackson West could see some time as he develops throughout the season.

We could see more two-tight end sets, which gives the Noles more flexibility when it comes to the RPO game.

Wilson and McDonald would be a significant upgrade over what the unit brought to the table in 2020.
