Final Thoughts

These projections are not an exact science by any means. There are too many variables, to be exact, but history says we should see something similar to the projected numbers when Adam Fuller has had a full year to coach and teach his defense to players.

I’m concerned by the number of third-down conversions allowed, not to mention FSU’s inability to stop the run last year.

The lack of pass rushers was a big part of the third downs conversions allowed, and the FSU coaches have tried to address that position.

His defense seems to be a bend but not break type, even though he’s aggressive with blitzes. The Noles have to get better linebacker and safety play in 2021, along with a pass rush.

If they get anywhere near these projected numbers, they should have a decent shot of winning 6-7 games as long as the offense can put up some points.

It’s an important year for Adam Fuller if he wants to stay off the hot seat.
